Get help with your Verbola account, IELTS or TOEFL study plan, Premium subscription, notifications, purchases, or technical issues.

We aim to respond within 2–3 business days.

To help us resolve your issue, include:

  • The email address connected to your Verbola account
  • Your device model and iOS version
  • Your Verbola app version
  • The screen where the problem occurred
  • The steps that caused the problem
  • Any error message displayed
  • A screenshot, if appropriate

Never send us your password, verification code, full payment card details, Apple Account password, or authentication tokens.

Account and Sign-In Help

I forgot my password

On the Verbola sign-in screen:

  1. Select Forgot password.
  2. Enter your account email address.
  3. Follow the instructions sent to your email.
  4. Check your spam or junk folder if the message does not arrive.

I did not receive my verification code

  • Confirm that you entered the correct email address.
  • Check your spam, junk, and promotions folders.
  • Wait a few minutes before requesting another code.
  • Return to Verbola and select the option to resend the verification code.

If the code still does not arrive, contact us at contact@verbola.io.

Google or Apple sign-in is not working

Confirm that:

  • Your device has an active internet connection.
  • You are signed into the appropriate Google or Apple account.
  • Verbola is updated to the latest available version.
  • You previously used the same sign-in method for that account.

Please include the displayed error message when contacting support.

Verbola Premium

My Premium subscription is not active

Open Verbola and navigate to:

Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases

Make sure the device is signed into the same Apple Account that originally purchased the subscription.

It can occasionally take a short time for App Store purchase information to synchronize. If Premium remains unavailable, restart Verbola and try Restore Purchases again.

Restore a previous purchase

  1. Open Verbola.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select Subscription.
  4. Select Restore Purchases.

Restoring a purchase does not charge you again.

Manage or cancel a subscription

Verbola subscriptions purchased on iOS are managed by Apple.

You can manage your subscription through:

You can also open:

iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions → Verbola

Deleting the Verbola app or deleting your Verbola account does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription.

Request a refund

Apple processes payments and refund requests for purchases made through the App Store. Verbola does not receive or store your complete payment card information.

Study Plans and Progress

My study plan was not generated

Check that you have provided:

  • Your exam type
  • Your exam date
  • Your target score
  • Your available daily study time
  • Your focus areas or weak skills

Confirm that your internet connection is active and try again. If generation still fails, contact support with the error message shown in the app.

My plan or progress looks incorrect

Please include the following information in your support request:

  • IELTS or TOEFL
  • Your configured exam date
  • Your target score
  • The affected day or task
  • What you expected to see
  • What Verbola displayed instead

Avoid including sensitive personal information in study notes or screenshots.

Completed tasks are not appearing in progress

Try the following:

  1. Confirm your internet connection.
  2. Close and reopen Verbola.
  3. Return to the affected task and check its completion status.
  4. Refresh the progress screen if the option is available.

If the issue continues, send us the task title and approximate completion time.

Notifications

I am not receiving study reminders

Check both Verbola and iOS notification settings.

In Verbola:

Settings → Notifications

On your iPhone:

Settings → Notifications → Verbola

Confirm that notifications are allowed and that the notification types you want are enabled.

Some notification behavior may also be affected by Focus modes, Low Power Mode, scheduled notification summaries, or device-level restrictions.

Advertisements

Free users may see advertisements in selected areas of Verbola.

If you encounter an inappropriate, misleading, or broken advertisement, contact us and include:

  • A screenshot of the advertisement
  • The date and approximate time it appeared
  • The Verbola screen where it appeared
  • Your country or region

Do not interact with an advertisement you believe is unsafe.

Troubleshooting

If Verbola is not working as expected:

  1. Confirm your internet connection.
  2. Close and reopen the app.
  3. Check the App Store for a Verbola update.
  4. Restart your device.
  5. Try the action again.

If the problem continues, contact us before reinstalling the app, especially if you have unsynchronized study activity.

Delete Your Account

You can request account deletion from within Verbola:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Open your profile.
  3. Select Delete profile.
  4. Review the information shown and confirm the request.

Account deletion removes account-related study data where supported by our current systems. Some information may be retained temporarily when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, payment records, or backup processing.

Deleting your Verbola account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. Manage subscriptions separately through your Apple Account.
